Violence in Argentina became a topic in the courts starting in 1985 but more than 440 films deal with memories of those years.  Luis Moreno Ocampo and professor Ted Braun from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts analyze some of these films.

This course will analyze the narratives of film like Saving Private Ryan, Nuremberg Trials, The Eichmann Show, The Battle of Algiers, Apocalypse Now, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Captain America: Civil War, as well as miniseries like The Looming Tower and Homeland, and documentaries.
